The cave is full of little spiders, and they are typically guarding one or more webbed units. Sam is your only starting unit for this mission, which is divided into two parts. The best place to do that is inside a cave of spiders. Sam has misplaced Frodo and must seek him out. Sweep south to destroy the enemy Camps, and the mission is yours. Economy, blacksmith, archery range, upgrades, rangers. The method to survival is fairly standard. Get some guys garrisoned in there quickly. On the top and central bridges, there are two towers at each that can house a battalion of archers or rangers. Send two to the south bridge, and put the other one at the central bridge. Enemies will pour across all three, any you'll have to secure it. A river running north-south splits the map in half, and three bridges connect the pieces. This is another survival-type mission, but it's much shorter than Helm's Deep.
